OVERVIEW
For families funded through the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), caregivers will work with a dedicated team to complete group and individual consultations. The training will be personalized to achieve individual and family-centered positive outcomes.
Ready, Set, Thrive! uses the PRT (Pivotal Response Training) Model. It is a child-led approach focusing on 4 key areas of early childhood development: motivation, responding to multiple cues, self-management and social interactions that arise naturally within a child’s day and builds on their interests. Through this play based-method, caregivers will work together with New Haven Instructors to learn positive strategies to engage with their child to reach individual and family-centered goals.
